| And actually, let's take a week per chapter, just to let everyone get a chance to get on if more comments are made. It can be more than that if our discussion runs longer. Revelations is an amazing book. I figured, why not share our opinions and thought about it? And if there is a verse that you notice is being qouted from another verse, let us know!! So, read Revelations 1. | |

| I LOVE this study and hope that all who want to will join in... The book of Revelation can become one of the easiest in the bible if you will open up your heart to God and know the background scriptures to most of it... | |

| Yeah, and in some cases you will have to read a verse over and over to fully understand it. Or maybe the whole chapter a few times. But try to really and truly comprehend what is says. | |

| Well, how about now? Is there something specific that struck out at you in chapter one? Something that you liked or disliked? | |

| My favorite part of this particular chapter is th eawesome description of the ressurected King Jesus...His eyes were a flame of fire with hair white snow and feet of bronze..It totally answers the question of what does Jesus look like... | |

| Yeah, I liked that too, Clay. I'm trying to figure out how bronzed feet and flaming eyes would look. I also like verse 16, ..."and out of His mouth went a two-edged sword, and His face was as the sun shining in it's strenght." (The Scriptures version) It talks about the Word being a sword in Isiah 49:2 and Hebrews 4:12. The one in Hebrews is one of my favorite verses. Like I say, I always have my Sword with me. | |

| My favorite part was the "mystery" of the seven golden candlesticks, and Christ himself. I also enjoyed the mention to the number seven. | |

| Yes, “The secret of the seven stars which you saw in My right hand, and the seven golden lampstands: The seven stars are messengers of the seven assemblies, and the seven lampstands which you saw are seven assemblies." is really cool. (Rev. 1:20, The Scriptures version) | |

| I'm sorry, Yehoshua, I don't agree with the rapture at all. Do you guys know who the Nikolaites are?
Rev 2:6 “Yet this you have, that you hate the works of the Nikolaites, which I also hate." (The Scriptures version)
Rev 2:4 “But I hold this against you, that you have left your first love." Who thinks that that means they have left the Torah?

| The Nicolaitains were these people that thought the Bible allowed them to practice idolatry and immorality.
I think their first love might just mean their love for Christ. I'm not sure.....

| Well, the Torah, the Messiah, kinda the same thing.
Yeah, but you can relate all the other groups of people to some group of people, some place. No one's ever heard of the Nikoalites.
